With more than 27 miles of sugar white beaches, the islands of Anna Maria and Longboat Key, and the mainland areas of Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch are an authentic, tropical location to host corporate, government and association meetings, annual retreats, conventions, sporting events, social groups, reunions and weddings. Named the #1 U.S. Hot Spot by TripAdvisor.com for 2007 and noted on lists by Forbes, USA Today and the NY Daily News, Florida’s Gulf Islands are gracious hosts for groups of 10 to 10,000. Nearly 165,000 square feet of meeting space and 6,000 guest rooms are available, including two convention centers, a 10,000 sq ft auditorium, banquet facilities, meetings resorts, and a 1920s 21-room Mediterranean estate. The Bradenton Area CVB staff specializes in creating your customized group experience, including accommodation assistance, guides and maps, itinerary planning, tours and site visits, team building, transportation, venue arrangements, dining and catering, and themed events. It’s time for a new perspective on an unspoiled destination. For a Meeting Planners Kit, contact Sharon.Kingston@mymanatee.org or visit www.FloridasGulfIslands.com.
